Report: First Five NBA Draft Picks Revealed


These are the first five picks in the 2020 NBA Draft:

With the first pick in the 2020 NBA Draft, the Minnesota Timberwolves select Anthony Edwards

Anthony Edwards averaged 19.2 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 2.8 assists on 40% shooting. He was a one-and-done prospect, playing one year of college basketball at the University of Georgia.

With the second pick in the 2020 NBA Draft, the Golden State Warriors select James Wiseman

James Wiseman averaged 19.7 points, 10.3 rebounds, and 0.8 assists on 76.9% shooting in three games played for the University of Memphis. He is considered the best prospect at the center position in this draft.

With the third pick in the 2020 NBA Draft, the Charlotte Hornets select Lamelo Ball

Lamelo Ball averaged 17 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 6.8 assists on 45.8% shooting from the field and 25% from three in 12 games for the Illawarra Hawks of the NBL. Lamelo Ball is the youngest American athlete to ever play professional basketball, as he briefly played professional basketball in Lithuania at 16 years old. His older brother, Lonzo Ball, currently plays for the New Orleans Pelicans.

With the fourth pick in the 2020 NBA Draft, the Chicago Bulls select Patrick Williams.

Patrick Williams played one season of college basketball for Florida State University. He averaged 9 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assists, and 1 steal.

With the fifth pick in the 2020 NBA Draft, the Cleveland Cavaliers select Isaac Okoro.

Isaac Okoro averaged 12 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 assists in one year of collegiate basketball for the Auburn Tigers.
