January 14th:
Trade News of the Day:

Cam Reddish of the Atlanta Hawks is being sent to the New York Knicks along with Solomon Hill and a 2025 second-round pick in exchange for Kevin Knox II and a 2022 protected first-round pick. I’ll be breaking down this trade a little bit later today, but know this: the Knicks easily won this deal.
Trade News of the Day (Part 2):

Remember how Bol Bol was going to be traded to the Detroit Pistons, and I really liked the trade because it gave Bol a chance to develop away from MVP Nikola Jokic? Bol would have hopefully meshed well with the young core of Cade Cunningham, Killian Hayes, Saddiq Bey, and Isaiah Stewart. Instead, it appears as though Bol failed his physical in Detroit, and the trade was vetoed. What? My thoughts on this move being vetoed will also be coming soon.
Game of the Night:

The Milwaukee Bucks, hosting the Golden State Warriors, pulled off an amazing win against the dubs. By halftime, the score was 77-38; that’s the most the Warriors have been down at halftime since they became the San Francisco Warriors in 1962! I didn’t think the Warriors would lay an egg like this, especially with Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson playing. Giannis Antetokounmpo, on the other hand, dropped 30 points, 12 rebounds, and 11 assists, strengthening his MVP case. Teammate Khris Middleton had 23 points, and it was much easier for both of them to score without Draymond Green playing due to a left calf injury.
The Three-Pointer is a brief blog post that will be sent out to everyone following the NBA Blog with daily basketball news. Each post will have three news points, which will be broken up into categories such as Stat of the Day, Question of the Day, Quote of the day, etc. This way, NBA news can be delivered to your inbox, and as soon as you check your email, you can be caught up on the events that transpired the day or night before.
Great information. keep it coming.
